Beautiful Beetroot

We finally harvested some of our Beetroot that we have grown from seed, 2 kilos worth!

The Beetroot were roasted and put in a salad with Goats Cheese, and Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar, delicious.The young leaves were added to the green salad, whilst the older ones were blanched and put into the freezer to be used later on.

 You can see how rich and beautiful the Beetroot looks once cooked, it is extremely tasty too.
