Gardening with Epsom Salts

I have just found out about the value of adding Epsom Salts to our garden and bought a small box and have been adding it to the loads of washing for the final rinse so that it can be pumped into the garden via the Greywater Gator. We are also using rainwater to fill the machine as that is much more beneficial to plants than bore water or scheme water, so we will keep doing this during the rainy season as the tanks get refilled quickly.

There is more detailed information about the benefits here . I have now ordered a bulk bucket as it is roughly half the price or less than what can be purchased at the supermarkets and as it does not go off it seemed like a good idea.
In the last couple of months I have found a local stock food supplier who sells these bags in bulk on Thomas Road in Anketell. The man who runs the business is just great and there are lots of great items for gardeners as well.
