Sadly, we live in a world where some commit/enable/encourage dreadful crimes against others and every day there are people dying, suffering, afraid and grieving because of this. As well there are others who are in positions of power who use it unwisely and others who do not pay their taxes nor share their wealth leading to great suffering.
