Here are photos the some of the fungi growing in mulch around our garden at the moment. I have no idea what they are at this stage and hope to be able to find out. What I do know is that having these grow in the garden is a sign of garden health and so i am really pleased to see them.

Beneficial fungi are certain species of fungi that protect our plants from disease by:
- Out-competing disease organisms
- Creating a healthy soil biology
- Offering direct protection to our plants by producing anti-pathogens
- Providing nutrients and water directly to the plants for better plant health
