We started our garden as we wanted to take responsibility for growing some of our food and so reduce our food miles and impact on the environment. Although it started as a plan to create an edible garden as we learnt more it has become about creating an eco-system which benefits the insects, birds and other wildlife as much as us. We have an average block in the suburbs and now almost every space that we can use has been turned into an area that produces food and we love it.
