Michigan/Nestle - Water Issues
Around the world 1 in 10 people do not have access to clean water which is incredibly sad when you think how vital water is to health and well being. In Africa there are 332 million people without access to water and another 155 million people without access in South, West, and Central Asia, for more information on this issue you can click on this link.
Whilst millions of people around the world understand exactly how vital access to clean water there are governments and corporations who do not appear to do so. In Michigan there are plans to sell 100 million gallons of groundwater to Nestle for $200 a year and the locals are furious. And rightly so after the dreadful events in nearby Flint.
