We recently visited Bali for a week and were fortunate to visit many interesting, beautiful and sacred places and also meet many wonderful people. These included visits to the Carolia Charity Projects with the kind assistance of Bambang Prayudi who very kindly escorted and educated us for the day about the great work being done. As well I visited the Bumi Sehat Foundation in Ubud and was given a tour of the new centre which is wonderful and was extremely fortunate to meet a new mother and her gorgeous baby there. For more information you can click on this link.
We were also lucky enough to meet Sunny and some of the children who are Trash Heroes of Candidasa when we visited their education program and recycling program. It was fantastic to see young people being encouraged to learn and to take care of their environment. For more information you can click on this link.
We feel very lucky to have had a chance to travel and meet everyone involved in these programs. There are so many people all around the world working to make it a better place and it is always so inspiring to see. Clearly the young men in the video below also feel strongly about cleaning up the planet as they too are trash heroes.
