Audrey Hepburn was an actress, model, dancer and humanitarian. This quote also shows that she understood the benefits of gardens and gardening and the faith and hope that is displayed by those who care for them. For us it is also a place of hope, solace, experimentation and peace in a busy and sometimes harsh and challenging world. Indeed anyone who waters a plant, cares for an animal, gets out of bed or any myriad of small or large actions is showing a belief in tomorrow.

 Dear friends of ours have just had their first child, which shows enormous belief in tomorrow. We hope that the world that young Harvey grows up in will be one that is filled with peace, love, equality and justice for all, with a natural world that is valued and respected too.
