Amnesty International is asking that we demand action and ask China to release Ilham Tohti, a well respected university professor,  immediately and unconditionally. This plea from his daughter is so moving and a reminder of the price that peaceful activists and their families pay every day around the world as they work to make the world a better place for us all.
