Kiva Highlights for 2016

We have just received an email from Kiva with this picture attached showing the highlights for 2016. We love being part of this initiative and seeing the people that we lend to succeed in reaching their goals and dreams all around the world. So far we have lent in all of the sectors and to people in 61 out of the 82 countries, and our goal is to lend to someone in every country that we can.  For more information about Kiva you can click on this link. Thanks goodness there are so many organizations doing wonderful work to make the world a fairer place by assisting people who are working so hard to improve their lives and that of their families and communities.

Mryian - Mother and Artisan

As a mother myself I understand the drive to work for, and with your children, in the hope that they will be able to fulfill their potential and have happy, productive lives. So it is with great pleasure that I watched this video about another such mother in Paraguay and sincerely thank the folks at KIVA for offering our family the opportunity to support women like Myrian. Thanks Myrian for sharing your story, it is lovely to learn about you, your work and your family.

We have belonged to KIVA since 2010 and this has enables us to lend money to people from over 50 countries to help them to achieve their dreams. We love learning about people from so many different countries and cultures as they work to make the world a better place for us all.

A reminder to us that as humans we all have dreams, hopes and aspirations and that not everyone has the same chance to fulfill them. We are grateful for the many organizations, including KIVA, that provide us with a chance to play a small part in helping others have the opportunity to fulfill their dreams.
