Sadly, we live in a world where some commit/enable/encourage dreadful crimes against others and every day there are people dying, suffering, afraid and grieving because of this. Climate Change is a central challenge for people around the world and it is very encouraging to see that so many countries, corporations, and ordinary people understand this and are working to make positive changes every day in many ways. The current discussions and decisions around The Paris Agreement highlight this and reaffirm that the vast majority of people on this beautiful planet, our home, want to protect and care for it so that the children of the future actually have a future.

Feeling the Heat?

We were amongst thousands of Australians who chipped in to Australia's biggest crowd-funding campaign to set up an independent Climate Council when the Australian Government abolished the Climate Commission. Like so many other Australians we wanted independent, authoritative climate change information to still be available to the Australian public. Extreme weather events, like Tropical Cyclone Pam in Vanuatu, are a forceful reminder that the people who have done the least to contribute to climate change are already being hit hard by its devastating impacts.
