Community Pod

Sadly, we live in a world where the news is filled with dreadful, tragic and heart-wrenching stories every day. There are those in this world who use this to divide us and who profit from the misery of  others and it is easy to give up hope. However there are many, many people who are playing their part to make the world a better place for us all.

The team from Community Pod were at the Lifeline stall for the HBF Run For a Reason last month. I talked with them about the social and environmental impacts of their coffee and was so glad to learn that not only are they fair and sustainable in all that they do there is also the ability to donate to a charity of your choice. On top of that the coffee was absolutely delicious. Good luck to them in reaching their goal of selling coffee in such a way that $5 million dollars will be donated to charity every year.
