Building Native Bee Homes

After watching this great clip about native bee habitat we bought a pack of bamboo and cut them into sections. Then we tied them together and created two native bee habitats by hanging them under the eaves. We have  recently seen Blue-Banded Bees in the garden so would now love it, if they, and other native bees inhabited our little bee homes. Hopefully we will be able to use bamboo that we have grown ourselves in the future.
