Today we honor the life and legacy of the great Martin Luther King Jr., a man who gave his life to serve others and fight the injustices of the world. In celebration of his birthday today, we'd like to share this intimate performance of Clarence Bekker singing "Talkin' Bout A Revolution." We hope this song speaks to your heart and that you carry love and compassion for all of humanity with you each and every day. In the words of MLK himself: "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

Taking a Step for World Peace at Standing Rock

Our son sent us a link to a wonderful blog called Stars Cannot Shine Without Darkenss  so that we could learn about these moving events. It takes great courage to apologise and great humanity to forgive. We are so fortunate to live in a world where both are possible and can be shared with others around the world as a model of how to move forward into a more respectful and compassionate world. As well we are all fortunate that there are so many people around the world prepared to protect/caretake the earth and work together to do so.
