We love chokoes, sliced and steamed when young they are absolutely delicious as well as in casseroles and stir fries so we are thrilled to see the bees busily pollinating the tiny yellow flowers on the vine.
Last year we collected buckets and buckets of chokoes and hope to do so again this year as they are excellent, check this link out to see why they are so great.
And of course by growing flowering plants that are attractive to bees we are supporting an important insect. There are many articles on the importance of bees in the garden, both European and Native and there is a good one at the link here.
