Men's Health Week
| Source |
Sadly, we live in a world where some commit/enable/encourage dreadful crimes against others and every day there are people dying, suffering, afraid and grieving because of this.
However there are many people and organizations doing wonderful work including protecting the health and wellbeing of others. For more information on events and activities designed to improve men's health you can click on this link. Those who are working for the greater good of all are much greater in number than those who are not and together we can make this world a safer and better place for all

Bowel Cancer Awareness Month
| Source |
Currently, we live in a world where some commit/enable/encourage dreadful crimes against others and every day there are people dying, suffering, afraid and grieving because of this.
June is Bowel Cancer Awareness month and sadly eighty Australians die every week from Bowel Cancer. However there are organizations like Bowel Cancer Australia who are working to help those who are suffering and prevent others from doing so.
"Bowel Cancer Australia's apple logo is symbolic of the charity's bowel cancer message: bowel cancer is preventable, treatable and beatable if detected early".

SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands 5 May
I have been learning all about Hand Hygiene and the importance of getting it right in a Health Care Assistant Class that I have been working in. Today is Save Lives:Clean Your Hands Day and hopefully the ongoing education campaign by the World Health organization will make the world a healthier and safer place for everyone. We are all very lucky that there are so many people who choose to study and work hard in health care and make the world a better place for us all. For more information you can click on this link.
If you want to learn and test your knowledge with a quiz at Hand Hygiene Australia you can go to this link.
